sys.sysdbfiles

sys.sysdbfiles is a system base table, thus it needs a dedicated administrator connection to select from it.
On my SQL Server installation, the table lists two inexisting paths:
select * from master.sys.sysdbfiles

dbfragid    fileid      fileguid                             pname
----------- ----------- ------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------
1           1           00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 d:\YukSp2CU\sql\ntdbms\scripts\usa\x86\master.mdf
1           2           00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 d:\YukSp2CU\sql\ntdbms\scripts\usa\x86\mastlog.ldf
