Oracle: Init parameter DIAGNOSTIC_DEST

The parameter diagnostic_desc specifies the root directory of the Automatic Diagnostic Repository, ake the ADR base directory.
If diagnostic_desc is not set, the ADR root directory defaults to the location of the environment variable ORACLE_BASE.
If this variable is also not set, the location falls back to $ORACLE_HOME/log.
