Windows product key

A product key (or a digital license, called digital entitement in Windows 10) is needed to activate Windows.

The format of the product key is xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx (letters and numbers).

Microsoft claims that it does not keep a record of purchased product software keys.
