The A-series (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4…) is defined(?) by ISO 216 and has an aspect ratio of √2.
The size of A0 is is 1 m2.
The B-series also has an aspect ratio of √2.
The size of a B sized paper is the geometric mean of the larger and smaller A sized paper.
B0 has an area of √2 m2 with a width of 1 meter.
The C-series is (was?) the international standard for letters.
The size of Cn is the geometric mean of An and Bn.
