URLs: Text Fragments

A W3C proposal defines a way how to add highlighting and scrolling-to information to a URL. As of this writing (2021-07-05), text fragments are supported in Version 80 of chromium based browsers.

Syntax

The syntax of a text fragment is roughly 
https://somehwere.yyy/xyz#:~:text=[prefix-,]textStart[,textEnd][,-suffix]
The text fragment starts with the #.
