A http.client.HTTPResponse object is returned, for example, by urlib.requst.urlopen(): 
import urllib.request

res = urllib.request.urlopen('https://renenyffenegger.ch')

type(res)  # -> <class 'http.client.HTTPResponse'>
res.read() # return byte array with URL's body
