SQL: select first row only

Different database products have different SQL clauses to select the first row or the first n rows only.

• Oracle 12c has the row limiting clause.
• SQLite has the limit clause.
• Apparently, MySQL also comes with a limit clause.
• SQL Server has the top n clause.
