The Subkeys of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\ISAM Formats refer to various drivers(?) for different data-source types that can be accessed with the OLE DB Provider for Microsoft Access database engine.

The names of the subkeys include:

If the DB Provider for Microsoft Access database engine is used to access one of these data sources, its name needs to be added after the Data Source key in the respective OLE DB connection string (except for the default which is MS Access).

ACEWSS is not a typo for ACCESS, it rather refers to the SharePoint engine. (Compare with the subkey WSS).

Each of these subkeys have the item Engine whose value refers to one of the subkeys in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Access Connectivity Engine\Engines.
