C:\Rtools

RTools is a bundle of tools that is required to build R packages with compiled code.

The default installation location for RTools seems to be C:\Rtools40 (Version 4) or C:Rtools (older versions).

Apparently, RTools can be installed with Chocolatey:

choco install -y rtools
